The cat heard this here and there and Fundy Blue gave it a go at her lair. Just proves that many humans are truly dumb. Or maybe just naive with their head up their bum. Or both could be the case. Would they call that umm what rhymes with spit on their face?
The virus is killing.
It sure isn't thrilling.
But just the sick and old.
They don't need to be in the fold.
Dead weight will be gone.
Who cares about their spawn.
They are no longer needed.
Just make sure their wills are deeded.
But let's not stop there.
Nope. There is more uselessness to spare.
The welfare bums can kick the bucket.
We don't need em, so fluck it.
Those parents gaming the system.
Let the virus go down there and twist em.
Then no more spawn will be had.
The kids can be adopted, so it ain't so bad.
Next those illegals can go.
They are so bad, you know.
Let it take em all out.
No one will give a shout.
The useless reality tv stars?
No way. We have to protect them on Mars.
They are so so so great.
Old people and welfare bums can't relate.
People who just throw trash anywhere.
Bah, the woods has room to spare.
They are just using the space.
We need them in the human race.
Rich CEOs and the like.
They can't take a hike.
They are far more important than a garbage man.
One's President, so you must be a fan.
Rapists, abusers, murderers, child molesters, human traffickers, and other scum.
They are needed, so don't be dumb.
They keep prisons going and provide law enforcement with work.
You should realize this, you selfish jerk.
The old can just die and go.
No one will even have to know.
But reality tv stars we really need.
After all, they have egos they need to feed.
Pffffffft is all the cat can say. Actually I guess I said more above at our bay. Many of the so-called "old" people are using what they learned to create a vaccine or help with this crap. So you want them wiped off the map? And what about when you get old? Want to be tossed in a dumpster out in the cold? People are just super dumb. Normal won't be a thing for a long while and then some. So stop pretending like it will be and acting like it's only old people that will get pitched in the sea. For the record the cat doesn't want any to croak from it, but I wouldn't mind if some truly awful scum buckets took a hit. Now thanks to dumb humans this rant has come to pass. Such people can go get pelted by the stuff that comes out my little rhyming ass.
Stay away from dumb. They talk out their bum.
The rapid testing of prisons when I know people who want to be tested but can't just baffles me.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Let's test those who don't provide for society first. Pfft. I get why they do it though, as so close quarters in there unless they lock em all down.
DeleteThis virus doesn't discriminate.
ReplyDeleteNot a bit
Deleteyour poem hit all the nails for the coffin. Good job
ReplyDeleteJust don't be going 6 ft under
DeleteI haven't heard that rhetoric since the start of all this, when everything was, "Okay, Boomer." I think now that more young people have contracted it, they've settled down on the nastiness.
ReplyDeleteIn some places they still haven't, or at least some people haven't.
DeletePffffffft really sums it up, we're very tired of the virus and stupidity.
ReplyDeleteStupidity sure abounds with some people
DeleteYour words are very relevant, Pat! When did people's lives become so expendable? When were the old so uncaringly left to die as if they did not matter. And the immigrants who do so much of the 'essential' work are not cared about either. I am heartsick by what is happening in my country. Your country is doing better, I think. Stay safe!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, if that "essential" work stopped there would be many a whiner from those who aren't immigrants. Canada is doing better as we shut crap down faster, unlike a certain buffoon.
DeleteI enjoyed reading this. Sadly that's what some people think who don't care about the rest of us and think that those at high risk, are old, or are otherwise not valued by them can pay price by getting the disease and maybe dying.
ReplyDeleteYep. Many sure don't care and aren't afraid to voice it.
DeleteCats are so much smarter than dumb hooomans.
ReplyDeleteThat they are.
DeleteThis is terrible. My grandparents are old, in their early to mid eighties, and I can't imagine life without them. They may be old, but they are my first call when I have a question. They also watch my babies and love them like their own. I'm as sick of the quarantine as the next person (if not more so), but I'll complain and stay put at the same time. I won't risk my grandparents or anyone else's. For once we agree, cat!
ReplyDeleteAgreeing with the cat, how about that haha
DeleteYeah, just because one is old doesn't mean they aren't valuable. Stupid people out there.
Rumor has it I have to be nice to you, cat. You helped Jax find her way to my blog because my link was broken. Since you're not around right now, this is the moment I'm choosing to be nice. hahaha
DeleteThe cat will never let you forget it though
Deleteorlin N cassie; best know ledge we ever had; well de gurl, waz frum her grand parentz; if her hada nickull for everee time her shoulda taked ther add viz, her wood bee a billlioanirez ~~~ N tossin trash azz $h1Tz all over de place bee sidez de TRASH binz ...pizzez uz off ta noe end ~~~~~ stay healtheee :) ♥♥
ReplyDeleteYep. Lots of advice can be found. If only we'd listen. Those trash throwers need to be thrown into a shallow river lol
DeleteDon't want anyone to die from this but it will happen sadly if that is their fate. What bothers me is some states are letting out murderers from prison before their sentence is up. That to me doesn't sound right.
ReplyDeleteBetty
Yeah, letting out murderers sure isn't a good thing. Just let em go and kill again.
DeleteI wouldn't shed a tear over the rapists or killers getting taken out by the virus. Justice would be served in my book then. The old, sick or poor though? They are not expendable and need to stop being treated as such. I'm so sick of hearing "it's just the old people it's really affecting". Really? My mom and in-laws are senior citizens. They mean a lot to me and are definitely not expendable to me!
ReplyDeleteYep. Rapists and killers croaking would get no sympathy from me. My book too. When you put it back on them about the elderly in their family they tend to walk away and shut up.
DeleteMy best friend's daughter (18 yr old) insisted that she couldn't be a carrier if she wasn't running a fever. She was so flip about the illness, my best friend (who we *think* was suffering from Covid19 at the time) made her daughter go live with her grandma for a month while she recovered. She was so worried that her daughter (who had possibly been exposed through her) was going to spread it around town, she didn't want to take that risk. 2 months later, just today said daughter tested positive for the virus and is suffering. Well, should have thought about that BEFORE being so flip and ignoring social distance guidelines or quarantining. So, she just got a hard lesson that it's not just the elderly or those with an underlying medical condition that makes it hard to recover from. She's an otherwise healthy girl.
DeleteThat will teach her. Stinks she had to get it, but learning through things actually happening is the best way a lot of the time. Especially for people with blinders on. Hopefully she recovers quickly.
DeleteShe says she feels fine most of the time, but then she'll get moments of feeling a little sick. It's definitely not hitting the younger people as hard as us older ones. I hope she learns her lesson too from this.
DeleteGood she wasn't hit hard, but hopefully the lesson was learned indeed.

ReplyDeleteA mistake you did make
DeleteA mistake I did make, lol....I hope you are enjoying your weekend. All life matters whether young or old. That elderly man or woman might have a spouse, a child,
Deletegrandchildren. A family will grieve no matter the age, the loss will be felt. A 20
year old male died here this week.
Yeah, everyone has someone that will mourn them, well maybe not everyone, but many. Can hit at any age.
DeleteWhat is so scary is the number of people that think like this.
ReplyDeleteYep. Sooooo many
DeleteI have been surprised by the people who think that some people aren't as important- so to them it doesn't matter if "those people" get the virus.
ReplyDeleteYeah, some people really need to get a grip.
DeleteSome people protesting in crowds baffles me. Let them get the virus and see where they will end up with. I have been working from home now and its okay. Anyway, be safe and well.
ReplyDeleteYep. Let them have it and see if anyone cares. Serves them right.
DeleteIf only there was rhyme and reason
ReplyDeleteCOVID would have a glorious season
cuz only the dumb evil oafs would be stricken down
It'd be kinda hard for this gal to frown.
Dumb all gone from the earth
DeleteWould sure be a great rebirth
Flip and flippant, how absurd
ReplyDeleteNo one can touch me, I'm like a bird.
Oh now you're sick?
so what do you say?
Please come and help me,
don't walk away.
I don't understand why people don't take it more seriously than they do in so many cases.
I'm mortified when people say, 'it's just the elderly being affected.' Do they not have parents and grandparents? Hullo.
Yeah, they change their tune when it comes at their door
DeleteShould leave em sit on the hospital floor
So stupid when they say that. Everyone knows an elderly person of some sort. Dumb.
Some girl at work kept coming in knowing her mom was infected.
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of her. Pffft
DeleteI was shocked how many younger people were saying just let the older people die.
ReplyDeleteYep. There are a lot of them
DeleteI don't think there's a lot of appreciation for how the older generation helped shape our country. They've contributed a lot. Can't just throw them to the virus.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and if it weren't for them popping us out, we wouldn't be here.
DeleteIt will be interesting to see if those folks have the same attitude when they are sick and old.
ReplyDeleteThat it will
DeleteI guess because I'm not getting out and because I live in an awesome tiny community, I'm not hearing much of that. Everyone is important, but other diseases kill, too, and some people at risk are not getting the care and services they need because of the lockdowns. Now that things are slowly beginning to open back up, everyone is afraid of getting sued. So these stupid (yes, I said that) "safe" practices that don't really mean a hill of beans are still keeping people from being seen in person by their health care professionals. Like you can diagnose cancer via a conference call...
ReplyDeleteCrazy world we're living in.
Great that none of it is around you. Yeah, that is sure a downfall indeed. You can't diagnose much of anything over the phone. Just makes it easier for them to tell you that you are normal. Pffffft.
DeleteWe live in a "retired community" where we are the kids. Many have children our age. These awesome people, who lived through the Depression, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam war...know more than the young people who want to dump the seniors over a cliff. And, here, there are some liberals who want to dole out checks to non-citizens/illegals to compensate them for lost employment. Life is strange, so very strange.
ReplyDeleteVery strange in every way. Just weird how things go sometimes
DeleteBe careful what you say about us Old Folks. We've been around the block a few times and know a heck of a lot more than some of you young folks. Who fed you and clothed you and educated you when you were little tots and teens? Think about it.
ReplyDeletefrom an Old Folk and proud of it.
Think you took that the wrong way at our sea lol
DeleteI agree with almost everything you said, cat. Almost. We *must* save the reality tv folks. Not the big names, but the ones that I watch because, well, what else will I do while I'm on stay at home orders? Read? Exercise? Make healthy food? Pfft!!
ReplyDeletePS: did you get my email?
Elsie
haha the cat knew you would disagree with that. Can't have you doing productive things after all, old one eye.
DeleteSpeaking as one of the oldsters some of these younger folks deem expendable, it's appalling to see such disregard for the value of not just my life, but ANY life. Adding gas to the flames, we've got politician, like the guy from Texas, who said something along the lines of he thought old people should be willing to die for the sake of their grandchildren's futures. I mean, if the so-called "leaders" are saying crapola like that, no wonder so many wackos are protesting the restrictions on their"right" to forego wearing a mask so they infect whoever they darned well please. It's a crazy world.
ReplyDeleteYep. Wackos at top sure breed more wackos at the bottom. And most of these politicians are old farts too. Don't see them willing to drop for their grandchildren. Pfffft.
DeleteDo you think those that don't wear masks are more susceptible or just sharing the wealth, in this case COVID, with those of us that do.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they aren't coming close to you and keeping their distance, shouldn't be a big deal, but yeah, they are sharing the wealth if up in your face. I wouldn't say they are super more susceptible though. Maybe a bit.
DeleteYou really need to write for the WEP this month. A fun prompt of Urban Nightmare!!!! We miss you!
DeleteWould be nice. But only so much time in the day.
DeleteGreat post! It's beyond irritating to watch the 'young' partying on the beach. Not wearing masks anywhere and the attitude that it doesn't matter!!!
ReplyDeleteYep. So many of them out there, young and old, with that attitude.
DeleteThanks for a great post, Pat. I read all the commentary too, something I don't always do. If you're lucky you get to be old, and it sneaks up on you faster than you can imagine. I've rained Covid curses on one person in my country, and now I'm trying to rein in those curses. Karma can be a bitch ~ LOL Take care, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLol yeah, sometimes such curses can come back to bite you in the butt, even if said person deserves them.
Delete
