The IWSG’s focus is on our writers. Each month, from all over the globe, we are a united group sharing our insecurities, our troubles, and our pain. So, in this time when our world is in crisis with the covid-19 pandemic, our optional question this month is: how are things in your world?
Well damn, I own my own world? I never knew that. It must be super tiny because I can't see it. Maybe the cat ate it. Or the puppy ate it once he hawked it up. My world is always out of reach. Or I guess if it comes out the other end would that make it full of umm shit? What? I got lots of TP if that's the case, so no big deal.
As far as things...they are still in place. I did move the litter box to get any litter out from behind it. I moved the bed to make it. But then I put them both back. So things I'd say are where they should be. What? Why do you keep rolling your eyes at me? Yes, I can see you. Now you looked. Gotta love the paranoia of stir crazy, huh?
Life here is the same as in many parts of the world. (WAIT!!! If the world has parts then who gets to be the private areas? It's a valid question.) Inside is where we be unless the 9-5 calls or groceries are needed. And we are so far virus free at our sea, hopefully it stays that way and no germy neighbors cough too close. Other than that here we be with puppies and writing and cats in a tree.
How are things in your part of the world? Do you live in the private parts? Does it get tingly there? Got a good stash of TP? Are you all virus free? Hopefully so, and hopefully all are keeping their ass indoors like they are supposed to so we can get this crap over with sooner rather than later.
Enjoy life, forget the strife.
glad you and all the critters are doing well. Your blog brings laughter, so you are doing your part. Take care
ReplyDeleteWill sure try to keep our part a going.
DeleteMy cats have never been happier! I wake up and they are super excited I don't have to go to work. They just keep purring. Glad you are doing well. We don't have many cases here in our town. I hope it stays that way:)
ReplyDeleteMine are happy, but then they want to get into things with no one watching, so not so happy then lol Hopefully it stays that way indeed.
DeleteLong as you have food and litter, you are good to go.
ReplyDeleteNow, go find the deed on your world.
Good to go indeed. I wonder where I can find that deed.
DeleteOur part of the world is weird and quiet, that's why we work so hard to get litter behind and under the litter boxes.
ReplyDeleteWeird and quiet isn't bad...hopefully. Yeah, gotta make em pull it out every once in a while.
DeleteLiving in a more remote area is the way to be right now. I've been to the grocery store once in the past 2 weeks and that's it. I did go on a few walks around the neighborhood and took a drive yesterday because weather has been dreary and rainy. I'm getting bored fast and it's at least another month of this.
ReplyDeleteYeah, all the people I make fun of for living in the arsehole of the world are probably the ones laughing now. They can survive for months off bugs and such lol
DeleteAt least another month indeed and that isn't counting the second wave.
Around The World
ReplyDeleteFun and lots of twirl
Many a new story
In the anthology
Best wishes and good swirl
Hank
Many a new
DeleteWill sure come due
Glad everyone in your household is doing okay. And having enough tp is a good thing. I'm hoping they restock before I need more.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they do. Not having any isn't fun.
DeleteIf you have TP, all is right in the world. I’m glad you are aok and same with your pets. We are aok here too although idiots still abound as I see even on my street.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the idiots abound here too. If they'd just grow some brain cells this would get over with sooner. Good all are aok there too.
DeleteIt's good to hear the virus isn't prevalent in your area. Our state has lots of hot spots, along with a host of idiots who still choose to ignore social distancing and stay-at-home orders, because they still think this is all a hoax. Or that the rules don't apply to them... or they're invincible. Whatever. Idiots. Good to know you've got plenty of t.p., though. I'd hate to think of you coveting your critters' nice soft fur... :) Take care.
ReplyDeleteYeah, still idiots like that here too. And of course idiots with seasonal properties that have sneaked here. Brain dead people if they think it is a hoax. Nice soft fur we wouldn't want to mess up indeed. haha
DeleteI'm not sure what part we live in but hope it's not armpit or foot bottom or such!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are doing well. We have enough TP for now and hopefully more becomes available. Stay safe xo
The armpit or butt crack sure wouldn't be great lol
DeleteHopefully more comes in indeed.
I guess I have one of the private parts, but I like sharing. I'm well. Avoiding people. Steering clear of crowds--well, that's easy these days. Glad to hear you're okay. And the cat? I'm sure its very healthy.
ReplyDeletelol share away. The cat is going to the vet tomorrow. Fun times.
DeleteHappy to hear you're all healthy at your sea. Now I want to visit the ocean (likely can't even if I wanted to, at the moment). Stay safe out there! :)
ReplyDeleteOcean is just a few mins from here, so I can at least see it.
DeleteI can think of parts of the world that probably qualify as the a***ole of the planet. Not much has changed in our house either except the hubby being stuck at home. I like being stuck at home.
ReplyDeleteStuck at home is fine by me too. Yeah, I can think of such places too.
DeleteMy tps getting low
ReplyDeleteand private parts don't show
But they don't get ignored
cuz I don't like being bored.
Gotta get the lovin in
DeleteEven with a low tp bin
Well, you're well aware of every little thing of my area of the world, right now to the daily # of infected. LOL We are healthy physically, but mentally losing it so I'm not so sure how to answer that question. I'm missing my grandparents. I'm missing my dad. I'm missing my coworkers. I'm missing and mourning all of the things we had planned for this time of year including my baby girl's birthday party, a trip to Disney, and our Easter celebrations. There, now you have another thing to hear me complain on. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy is the cat in a tree? Cat!! Get out of the tree before you get a tick or fleas on your knees.
lol I knew you couldn't resist. But you miss your coworkers? Even you know who? I'm sure one really misses you too hahaha stinks that all plans are kaput, but could be way worse.
DeleteCat tree it could be. There there is no wood ticks or flea.
Of course I couldn't resist.. I'm slowly losing my mind and I'll gladly complain about it on all channels that offer the opportunity. I kid, I kid (sort of)..We're lucky to be healthy at this point. Truth be told, people are passing by the hundreds around me which can be humbling. Yes, I miss all of my coworkers right down to my bamboo plant that hasn't had a good conversation in weeks.
DeleteYeah, we're lucky indeed. Just have to remember that when you are missing your bamboo plant and want to have a chat with it lol
DeleteI'm glad your doing good. Everything is good here in my public and private space!! Take care.
ReplyDeletewww.alliebock.com
Good that both are grand at your land
DeleteVirus free, stocked with TP, and the pantry is threatening to explode. Good to go!
ReplyDeletehaha a good trio right there to have.
DeleteGlad you are all safe at your sea. I stay in most of the time so no out and about for me. I do
ReplyDeletehave some TP, so that brings glee
Good stash of tp can sure bring glee
DeleteGlad to hear you are all safe. We're good, sheltered, plenty of food and TP. And cat litter. Gotta have that cat litter!
ReplyDeletehaha that you do. Worst comes to worst have to steal sand from the beach lol
DeleteGood all is going good for you and yours and the critters! Symptom free is always a good thing these days!
ReplyDeletebetty
That it surely is
DeleteGood to hear you are virus free at your sea
ReplyDeleteHopefully stays that way for all in blogland
DeleteSo glad that you and the kitties are okay. Take care. This too shall end.
ReplyDeleteThat it shall in a few months or maybe more
DeleteHey, Pat. Of course it would be you who wondered about private parts of the world ~ LOL! You never stop thinking about the quirks in language. I used to think that Digby was the armpit of the world, but in recent years I'm viewing it more kindly. I guess you have to leave home to appreciate home. Enjoy your menagerie and good luck with your writing!
ReplyDeletelol always question the words and then you can create more. Digby isn't as bad as some of the places I've been. I can name two that are far worse and may get the armpit moniker haha but yeah, you do appreciate when you leave.
DeleteMy world is way to public. I am still traveling for my employment, and wondering when "shelter at home" and "social distancing" will kick in. I especially love the number of people crowded into fast food restaurants to pick up their to-go only meals. Yeah, nothing changed in my "part" of the new world order.
ReplyDeleteYep, and those fools will be the ones that screw everything up more.
DeleteHappy to hear all is right in your world
ReplyDeleteThat's always great to be told
Nothing better than to be surrounded
by dogs and cats when we are grounded.
Hope you stay healthy, safe and virus free
just like all of us over at our sea!
Stay healthy and safe,
Elsie
Dogs and cats sure are fun
DeleteAs ground and away they run
Hopefully virus free is the way to be
For you me and many a sea
Y'all stay safe and healthy. At least litter is a bit easier to come by than TP:)
ReplyDeleteThat is true indeed
DeleteI'm glad to hear you all are healthy. You already know what's going on with me. I'm just trying to stay busy and keep my mind on other things.
ReplyDeleteThat sometimes is the best way to be indeed when crap hits the fan.
DeleteIsolation may now be the best choice to avoid exposure to the covid-19 virus.
ReplyDeleteAlthough in fact it is not an easy thing to do in practice. I join in hoping that this global epidemic will end soon.
Greetings from Indonesia, Pat Hatt
Hopefully it will end soon, but highly doubt it.
DeleteI wondered before our Shelter in Place if this would teach people they like working from home better than working at work. I'm sure enjoying no commute! Whodathought???
ReplyDeleteStay safe and healthy!
Well it sure might. As you show, some are sure learning haha no commute is the best.
DeleteI was amazed at how many people were playing at the park yesterday since it was so nice out. I told my husband that those were the kind of assholes that were going to get us all infected. If we need fresh air, we go out in our yard. Only leave for work and groceries (Jason that is, since I work from home and he has grocery duty now).
ReplyDeleteYep, same bunch of assholes doing it up here. But now the cops are fining them $700 a pop, so hopefully that will slow their dumb asses down.
DeleteBelated IWSG. Glad to hear you are doing well. Good here so far too.
ReplyDeleteThat is grand in your land
DeleteWe are on a stay-at-home order now. I don't know if people are staying in like they are supposed to or not now because we aren't going out. We have all we need for at least 30 days. When we'd go on our TP searches (it took a long time to find some), there were always, and I'm mortified to say it, a lot of people out. I found myself picking up a box of cat litter every time we went on a TP hunt, now I have 5 boxes, lol. I guess that is what I was subconsciously worried about running out of. ;) Glad all is well there. Same here, we are fortunate enough to say. So many sad stories I have to turn off the news for stretches of time. :(
ReplyDeletelol well you do have lots of beaches if you run out of cat litter. There is always a bunch out when I went to grab things too. Sometimes you just have to turn off the news.
DeleteYou have lots of company with your pets. :) I have been staying in and working from home. I love my house and yard, so I am happy to be home. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteGreat way to be indeed.
