Don't I look so impressed? Bah, that is just the flashy thing I'm rolling my eyes at. These are great. They are mighty good to chew on. What? I can't read. What do I care what they say. Pat hid them on me though. How rude is that? Theresa and her Mixed Nuts whipped these up for me and sent them from her new etsy store and Pat took them away. So I figured while Pat is...
Pretending to do this when really...
At first I was cursing her and her mixed nuts because I stopped to use a giant litterbox and found THIS!!! Who would have thought a place named Roseway wouldn't be rosy. They need to change the name.
So I ventured farther and found a place to go that was even more out in the boonies. Yeah. I lifted my leg off the wharf. What?
Then I saw this lighthouse thing that humans are in awe of. Really? Can't say I get the appeal. It's like a giant red dot. Wowweee.
This thing stuck out like a sore thumb. In a good way? Maybe. The birds covering it kinda put me off. Maybe Blabber can come scare them away with her bird whispering.
And then I found a giant litterbox with no snow. Just watch where you step if you ever visit.
And onward I continued. Down some road that wasn't white. Only to find...
Foggy trees! An island of foggy trees. A dead end with an island of foggy friggin trees. Wow!
Oh, and there was a rock. Isn't it umm rocky?
Then I snuck into this place. For a town that has lock in its name, the locks were pretty easy to get by. I think they need a security expert.
And yeah, here we have water. Not sure on the appeal. But it's water! Awe!
And a rainbow over water. Woweee. Light and water. Now we were talking.
I stayed on the outskirts of this one. Any town with loony at the start of its name isn't very appealing. I don't want to visit an asylum. What? Lunen, you say? Bah, you say it wrong.
And here we see water between a town and cement. That has to impress, right?
And finally...finally...ugg...can't...it's more...ugg...water. But hey, at least I peed there.
After all of that I went and had a nap. Don't you like my travels? Have you ever taken any day trips? Did you see Theresa's new store? Do I have a future as a tour guide? Maybe Blabber will have second thoughts about bringing her tiny humans here. That's the last thing I need. More tiny humans. I'll just make her sneeze a bunch. Anyway, I'll leave the travel to Theresa and her mixed nuts for now. Time to nap.
Enjoy life, forget the strife.
That was a fun trip, for a bunch of kitties we always enjoy seeing water scenes!
ReplyDeleteWater scenes sure are a plenty here
DeleteI have many, many comments to make about this post. Perhaps I should make a list of 10 and annoy the cat. Well, to start.. 1. stop rolling those eyes, cat, before they get loose and fall out. 2. Love those ornaments and Theresa’s shop! 3. Lighthouses are fun to visit and I plan to visit some when we are there. 4. My whispers will attract more birds, but I’ll be happy to assist. 5. My tiny humans just want to sing with you, dance with you, and pull your tail. 6. What in the world is a wharf?! Is that your word for stoop? 7. Stop making up words. 8. Is that your “I see the light” as in the cat should have seen the northern lights spot? I only see sunlight which is disappointing. Theresa totally would have seen the northern lights and shared fabulous pictures of it with us. 9. I’m glad you only peed in the water. 10. An island of foggy trees sounds like the perfect name for a future project.
ReplyDeleteHow’d I do? :)
lol but your list wasn't very pretty. All one big run on paragraph. pfffft. That cat is so disappointed.
Delete1. Pffft good to exercise eyes. Avoid glasses that way.
2. I guess we can agree
3. Pffft fun? A giant glow stick? You lose points.
4. Attract them and let them poop on you
5. They pull the tail and their singing may turn to a wail
6. Umm a wharf is a wharf? What rock do you live under?
7. Stop being a dink LOL
8. Pffft give it up
9. The cat needs no bushes
10. What project would that be?
See? All nice and neat.
Deletepsh, it looked pretty on my phone. On my lap top though, not so much!! A wharf is a made up word. I googled it and the real words for it are dock and pier. Dink or not, wharf reminds me throw up. What's up with you and that pirate talk?? Shimmer, um,, shiver me timbers.. LOL & A podcast!
DeleteShimmer pfffft sooo bad you can't even get the right words. As for wharf, you really are out of touch. There are 50 wharf roads here, not joking, so either the roads are named wrong or you are. And all roads have a wharf at the end, or water, but still. WHARF!
DeleteEnjoyed the photos! Looks like an enchanting place. Especially, like the photo with the rainbow and yes, now we are talking. haha. Who knew there was so much to see?
ReplyDeleteSo much water to see lol with the odd rainbow or two
DeleteThanks for the shout out :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like maybe I'm finally rubbing off on you, sharing those travel pics. Idk why, but I am always drawn lighthouses. The rainbow over the water was a really great capture. I've always wanted to retire in the middle of the country away from all of the people, but sometimes I think I'd like to retire to a little sleepy fishing village comparable to the little town on the water you have up there. As long as it never, ever snows there though. I am so ready to be far, far away from snow!
Waaay too many lighthouses around here, so maybe just meh to me because of it. Well for two to three months there is snow in that village here. But if you want a place where you never have to be near anyone other than the village, that is it. Sleepy town if there ever was one
DeleteI'll skip that one because of the snow. I have my eye on one in Ireland though. It's a dream that maybe many, many years from now I'll make a reality. Living in the US is proving to be one big shitshow that I'm ready to escape.
DeleteDoes Ireland get snow? I have distant relatives over there somewhere. Yeah, you can keep that shitshow. Bad enough we are close to you guys.
DeleteLoved your pictures, especially of the rainbow.
ReplyDeleteRainbow seems to be the winner.
DeleteI think it's quite the combination of natural and quaint.
ReplyDeleteA lot of that here, about all there is lol
DeleteSuch a fun post - and I love water, more water, and a lighthouse. Yes, I'll stand transfixed at one. (guess I am human) That was some deep fog too. A winter day trip offers quite a variety. Glad some were off the couch and in action. Thanks for this - it's made my Friday start with a smile.
ReplyDeleteSure plenty of variety in weather indeed. You can stare at the lighthouse while we keep on walking by lol
DeleteI sure enjoyed the road trip, despite the Cat’s negativity! Not a fan of the snow, but I did like the blue sky and blue water in that last picture. There’s a lot of charm to the seaside towns. And yup, we humans do seem to like our lighthouses.
ReplyDeleteThe cat is just positive it is negative lol Those sea side towns sure are a win to many. That humans do. Stare at the giant lightbulb sticks lol
Deleteorlin ! dood.. we N joyed thiz post and it waz BURD free given all de waterz ya saw...we cracked up at de fulla shitz ornamint....total lee awesum .....:) de gurl haz ta head ta Theresa's store N chex it out !!! & even tho we iz knot much inta snowz; de snowz foto rox !!! sew doez de fog one; R branez iz inna fog all de time... sew it remindz uz oh home :) ♥♥
ReplyDeletehaha well hopefully there is no trees with that fog in your head, that wouldn't be good. Ornaments were awesome indeed.
DeleteSend the snow to me! I'll take all you care to get rid of! It was fun to see how Pat REALLY works. That was as much a treat as the rainbow and all the other lovely photos! No road trips for us for a while. But hopefully again one day soon...
ReplyDeleteWorks for me. You can have every last bit haha Yeah. Really works by not working. His roadtrips are usually forced, so away he goes.
DeleteTime For A Trip
ReplyDeleteEnjoy with no slip
Pictures galore
Great adventure
Have things in a grip
Hank
Plenty to see and do
DeleteAt least plenty to view
I love the ornaments. Theresa did a fabulous job with those.
ReplyDeleteI want to move where you are. I always love the pictures you post. It's so lovely there. The woods and water just look so relaxing. That second picture though made me smile. One cat is snoozing, the dogs are playing and the kids look happy. You and the cat are just posing for the picture.
Sure lots of nature here and doesn't get as hot as there by no means.
Deletehaha yeah, all do their own thing while we watch over them.
Of course the cat can't appreciate anything as beautiful as the water, lighthouse, and a rainbow. Typical evil cat lack of interest unless he can pee or poop in it.
ReplyDeleteI think Jax and her family would have a great time up there...once it gets warmer!
Theresa's shop is adorable! I love the Shrute wooden spoon!
Elsie
Pffft humans are just too gullible to appreciate that stuff
DeletePfffft no tiny humans allowed near the cat lol
That it is indeed. Agree? Pfffft
I love all the places you went to visit but, of course, the cat is only bemused except for the beach. So many lovely pictures and do love that town you visited. I have visited my couch, my bathroom, the kitchen and bedroom...I’m With the cats..what a yawn.
ReplyDeletelol well at least you didn't stay in one spot
DeleteHaha! I'm having great fun looking at all your pictures, Pat. Makes me homesick! I haven't been along your stretch of the road in a long time. The closest I've gotten is to loony... from one direction and a town with a pub in its name from another. And I've seen a ton of islands with frigging foggy trees! Of course I got a kick out of your family photo ~ Never a dull moment there! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeen EVERYWHERE from Loony to Yarmouth these days at my sea. lol those islands with foggy trees seem to be everywhere. Sure always something to do here.
